United face Ferguson snub
Manchester United could suffer a setback over a starlet that could become the next-best Premier League striker.
Despite Brighton forward Evan Ferguson growing up idolising Wayne Rooney and United searching for a striker for Erik ten Hag, they may not be able to land the Irish sensation.
He has blossomed into an outstanding top-level striker under Roberto De Zerbi's tutelage, so much so that the Seagulls are looking to tie him down to a new long-term contract.

Liverpool free transfer boost
Liverpool's plans to enter the market for midfield reinforcements are well-documented, but they may be able to pick up a bargain in the form of Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Daichi Kamada.
The Japanese star only has a contract with the Bundesliga side until the end of the season, as reports have suggested that he had been considering leaving on a free transfer.
Amid interest from several teams including Liverpool, Sky Sports Germany have now claimed that Kamada has officially informed Frankfurt of his intentions to leave for free at the end of the season.
With several midfield targets eyed at sky-high prices, including Jude Bellingham, Kamada may be a shrewd capture for Jurgen Klopp's outfit.

Man Utd set for fire sale
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag could reportedly be set to axe up to 13 stars as a summer clearout could take place at Old Trafford.
The likes of Harry Maguire and Anthony Elanga are two of the names that could be facing exits, as the Red Devils look to raise funds for incoming signings.
The likes of Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and Moises Caicedo have been recently linked with moves to United - paving the way for a busy summer at the club.

Bournemouth banish Zemura
Bournemouth have reportedly banished defender Jordan Zemura from the first team after the Zimbabwean allegedly agreed a deal to leave the club.
talkSPORT have claimed that Gary O'Neil's outfit have discovered that Zemura has struck an agreement with Serie A side Udinese for next season, without the Cherries being notified by the player or his representatives.
Zemura's contract with Bournemouth expires at the end of the season, meaning that he is free to talk to foreign clubs regarding a pre-contractual agreement, but Bournemouth are under no obligation to keep him in the first-team squad if such a deal has been struck.

Spurs told to avoid Grealish repeat
Tottenham have been told they need to avoid repeating their previous transfer error with Jack Grealish in their pursuit of Leicester star James Maddison.
Spurs were interested in the now-Manchester City man during his days in the Championship with Aston Villa and reportedly made various offers, but the Villa chiefs deemed them too low.
Ex-Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor believes that due to Newcastle's rivalled interest in Maddison, Spurs cannot afford to low-ball for another talented midfielder.
“I just feel like Spurs shouldn’t make the same mistake they did with Jack Grealish," Agbonlahor told Football Insider. “They tried to save money and get his price down, and they missed out. Maddison is exactly what they need.
“They could change the way they play entirely and go to a 4-3-3. It’d be perfect. But they’ll have competition. Newcastle will be there with £55million if Tottenham offer £50million.

Osimhen phone call
Sky Sports Germany are reporting that Manchester United and Chelsea target Victor Osimhen had a phone call with Bayern Munich last month.
The Nigerian striker is set to be one of the most wanted players on the transfer market this summer after a sensational season with Napoli - while he is of interest to several top Premier League clubs.
Bayern Munich were also linked with Osimhen, but having directly spoken to him last month informed the player that they expected him to be out of their price range.
The news could be a huge boost to the likes of United and Chelsea as one more rival drop out of the race for his signature, but will face plenty of competition to land the 24-year-old.

Liverpool battle for Guernsey Grealish
Alex Scott of Bristol City has been dubbed the 'Guernsey Grealish' as the England youth international's performances in the Championship have been reminiscent of the Manchester City man.
Premier League teams have taken notice of the 19-year-old, as the likes of Tottenham and Wolves have reportedly shown their interest in January but he opted to remain in Bristol.
The Daily Mail have reported that Liverpool could be set to join the race for Scott, as head of recruitment Dave Fallows and chief scout Barry Hunter were in attendance to watch him compete against Germany for England U20s last month.

Arsenal face Balogun call
Arsenal sent Folarin Balogun on loan to Ligue 1 side Reims this season and his progress will have impressed Mikel Arteta, scoring 18 times in the French league under boss Will Still.
He will return to the Emirates this summer with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard as competition for the starting striker spot.
The Athletic have claimed that Balogun's priority is to continue as a club's first-choice number nine next year, which he hopes to do so at Arsenal.
However, with several strikers likely ahead of the 21-year-old, he may not get the opportunities he desires and the club may be forced to lose one of the most exciting young talents in European football.

Chelsea stance on Joao Felix
Chelsea's on-loan star Joao Felix has impressed since temporarily moving to Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid in January.
The Blues were unable to negotiate an option to buy in his loan deal, but Fabrizio Romano has claimed that they are interested in signing him beyond this season.
The report states that the Portuguese forward also hopes to stay in west London long-term, but any deal will depend on the fee quoted by Diego Simeone's outfit.

Brighton interest in Arsenal ace
Brighton are reportedly interested in bringing Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson to the south coast this summer.
Nelson has ably stepped into Mikel Arteta's side this season - most notably for the winning goal against Bournemouth - with other Premier League teams taking notice.
The Daily Mail have claimed that while Arsenal have opened talks with Nelson over a new contract, as his current deal is up at the end of the season, he is interested in a move to Brighton.

Ziyech told to leave Chelsea
Hakim Ziyech was within minutes of a Chelsea exit in the January transfer window, but his deadline day move to Paris Saint-Germain could not be completed on time.
He has struggled to nail down a starting spot since arriving at Stamford Bridge, as ex-Blues defender Frank Leboeuf has told the Moroccan winger to leave the club in the summer.
"Well, definitely Ziyech," Leboeuf told ESPN when asked who should leave Chelsea. "The guy is not happy, and he wants to work.
"Every time he plays for Morocco, he’s the best player in the world, and every time he plays for Chelsea, he feels sad and lost.
"So I wish him to go somewhere else where he can show to the world he’s still the Ziyech that we have seen when he played for Ajax."

Amad chasing Man Utd dream
Amad Diallo has insisted that he is still determined to become a regular player at Manchester United amid his impressive loan spell in the Championship with Sunderland over the course of this season.
"I haven’t shown my best for them [United] yet, but I hope next season I can return and prove my talent. My dream is to play regular football at Manchester United," he told FourFourTwo.
"I know it was a lot of money, but I didn’t really think about that. There’s no reason to worry about things you can’t influence.
"I was so happy to sign for Manchester United. It’s a club with a massive history, famous all around the world."

Man Utd handed two major boosts
Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen would both be interested in joining Manchester United at the end of the campaign if they are pursued by the Red Devils, according to transfer expert Pete O'Rourke.
He told GiveMeSport: "It all depends on the clubs. I’m sure both players would be interested in a move to Man Utd if it became a viable option for both.
"We know Napoli will drive a hard bargain for Victor Osimhen. It looks like they're going to win Serie A and they're going to be in the Champions League next season.
"They'll probably want to keep Victor Osimhen around and try to tie their star players to new contracts. I think it will be a huge transfer fee of around £120m-£130m plus to convince Napoli to sell him."

Chelsea urged to be patient with Mudryk
Peter Schmeichel believes that Chelsea need to bide their time when it comes to getting the best out of January arrival Mykhaylo Mudryk, who is yet to score in the Premier League since joining the Blues three months ago.
"It was a lot of money spent and no goals," Schmeichel told Premier League Productions. "Mudryk was, for me, a big one.
"I have seen him play for Shakhtar in the Champions League a few times and he has been absolutely outstanding. But, of course, they play in a different style and they play in a different way.
"He is coming in with this price tag, he was sort of nicked from Arsenal at the last minute, so a lot of external non-football issues around his personality. And now go and score goals, it’s a big, big call.
"The Chelsea dressing room doesn’t work. There isn’t a good atmosphere there. Too many players in there, who have been brought in on promises, then they look around and there are 35 of them."

Liverpool keen on Barella
Liverpool are weighing up a potential summer move for Inter Milan playmaker Nicolo Barella to strengthen their midfield ranks, according to Calciomercato.
The Reds are known to be in the market for reinforcements in the engine room and have been credited with an interest in Barella, who is said to be near the very top of Jurgen Klopp's summer wishlist.
However, it is claimed that Inter are unwilling to sell for anything less than around £65m, while Barella is also thought to be keenly admired by those in power at Chelsea.

Chilwell to extend Chelsea stay
Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell has agreed to sign a new four-year contract at Stamford Bridge to keep him in west London until the summer of 2027.
That's according to The Athletic, who are reporting that Chilwell is poised to finalise an extension to his current deal in the not-too-distant future.
The former Leicester City man has established himself as a key player for Chelsea over the course of this season despite the Blues having spent a considerable amount of money to land Marc Cucurella last summer.

Liverpool warned against Bellingham move
Liverpool should think carefully about making a move for Jude Bellingham due to his lack of discipline at Borussia Dortmund, according to former Reds midfielder Didi Hamann.
"I'm not too sure about Bellingham," he told Sky Germany.
"He's an incredibly talented player with extraordinary abilities, the only thing he doesn't have is discipline. If you look at the goals that Dortmund have conceded in recent weeks and months, I can tell you that in five or six in which he played a key role.
"If you want to go to a top club like Real Madrid or Liverpool, you have to play differently. At Dortmund you can do whatever you want, no one dares to say anything because they are afraid to disturb you.
"I would be careful if I am Real Madrid, Liverpool or Manchester City. Of course, he is an exceptional player who is still very young, but little by little he has to incorporate discipline into his game."

Arsenal to go back in for Raphinha?
Arsenal could decide to revive their interest in a move for Barcelona winger Raphinha when the bidding opens at the end of the season, according to transfer expert Pete O'Rourke.
The Gunners tried to sign Raphinha last summer when he was at Leeds United but he eventually chose to join Barcelona in a deal worth around £55m.
O'Rourke told GiveMeSport: "I think there’s a possibility they could revisit the situation with Raphinha. It seems Arsenal sporting director Edu is a huge admirer of his fellow Brazilian.
"A lot will depend on what’s going on at Barcelona this summer. If they need to sell players to raise funds, which it looks likely, Raphinha could be made available on the market and I’m sure that will pique Arsenal’s interest if they think they can land the former Leeds man on a cheap deal."

Chelsea rival Spurs for Mamardashvili
Chelsea and Tottenham are keen on bringing Valencia goalkeeperGiorgi Mamardashvili to the Premier League this summer, according to Calciomercatoweb.
The 22-year-old has been turning plenty of heads in Spain over the course of this season and is said to have attracted the attention of several top European clubs as a result of his heroics between the sticks.
Chelsea are thought to be leading the race to snap him up as things stand, although Tottenham will be hoping to muscle in ahead of the Blues as they seek a long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris over the coming months.

Man Utd eye Brighton duo
Manchester United have added Brighton pair Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister to their list of targets to pursue in the summer, according to The Telegraph.
It is said that the Red Devils could opt to strengthen their midfield ranks over the coming months after struggling in the absence of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen at times this season.
Caicedo and Mac Allister have also been earmarked by other Premier League clubs, though, which suggests that United could be forced into a bidding war should they decide to firm up their interest in the duo later this year.
